Story
Last year we set out as a team for the Woking Hospice to complete the Prudential 100 mile bike ride, after weeks of training we set off together. The weather was grim and the course was cut to 86 miles, but all this became completely irrelevant with the news at the end of the course that our friend and team mate Kris had suffered heart problems at Newlands Corner and had passed away.
It was so hard to believe that a young 36 year old man who was so full of life was no longer with us. Kris had helped us get our bikes to London had enjoyed our pre-ride meal the night before and we had ridden with so many times . This year we are setting out again riding for Kris and raising money for CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young to help stop anyone else suffering the heart ache his girlfriend Nicki and his family have endured .
