Story
Hello everybody! I will be running the Brighton 2012 Marathon in April and raising money for The Cambodian Children's Charity. I really need your help!!
The Cambodian Children’s Charity (‘CamKids’) is a development and relief organisation, dedicated to providing direct aid to poor children in Cambodia. Its principal objective is to help children in Cambodia who are either poor or whose parents are not there for them: orphans, street children, children living in poor rural areas and children affected by natural disasters, such as flood or famine. In a country where there is a high rate of child abandonment, it also supports programs to help strengthen vulnerable families and keep them together. CamKids has absolutely no overhead costs as it is run entirely by its Trustees and supporters and receives all of the services and goods it needs, free of charge, from individuals and corporate friends of the charity.
For more information about CamKids’ projects, please visit www.camkids.blogspot.com or check the ‘allow future communication’ box when making a donation on my page to receive their twice-annual newsletter. If you are a UK taxpayer, please do not forget to check the Gift Aid box, as this will allow CamKids to collect an additional 25% from the UK government, to add to my total. Please share my page on Facebook, Twitter or other Social Networking sites by clicking on the ‘Share this page’, icon on the left side of this page. If you are interested in taking part in an event for CamKids or supporting them in any other way, please email: events@camkids.org. Thank you.
