Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

The Wiltshire Air Ambulancewas established in 1990 and operates for 19 hours per day, 365 days of the year.  It can get to the scene of life-threatening incidents in as few as 11 minutes, making the difference between life and death.  The Wiltshire Air Ambulance is funded entirely on donations and needs to raise at least £700,000 each year to remain in operation.

The White Horse Challenge started in 2006 and has raised over £89,000 for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.  This year they hope to beat last year’s total of £17,000.

I will be walking the 25 miles of day 2, cross country from Marlborough to Devizes via the Hackpen, Cherill and Devizes white horses.  Nic Hewlett will be joining me for the first 10 miles, Craig Duff for the middle 7 miles and Jo Kelly for the final 8 miles.  Together we are The Smiths News WHC Ramblers.  Our aim is to raise at least £500.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your generosity.
