Story
I'm running the Great South Run on Sunday 22nd October to raise money for Headway, a charity that has played a fundamental role in supporting my family over the last 17 years.
When Dad was 37 years old he suffered a sudden heart attack that left him permanently brain damaged. He spent six weeks in intensive care at QA Hospital and many months after recovering before he was allowed home.
Both my parents have been attending Headway for many years, Mum as a carer and Dad as a service user. They both benefit immensely from weekly sessions and days out.
Any donations would be hugely appreciated to continue the support Headway provides to my Dad and loads of other people with brain injuries.
Thank you !!! xxxxx
