Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you can see from the photo I have a beautiful grandson called Zachary.
Zach was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma and then a Pineoblastoma on September 2013 when he was ten and a half months old
.
Little did we know the journey that Zach was about to face, but he went through a course of very intensive chemotherapy followed by stem cell harvest and then an even more intensive high dose chemotherapy with stem cell replacement and he still managed to smile.

Zach is now finished the planned treatment and has MRI scans every 12 weeks and has his eyes screened every 6 weeks.
So to help raise funds and awareness of Retinoblastoma I set myself a couple of challenges. London Marathon 2015 is one but I am also running the Great North Run 2015.So guess I will just have to keep the trainers at hand for a few months more!
Thanks to all for the support that we have received it really has helped my family and I to get through the last 17 months.
