Story
In June 2014 I was meant to be taking part in the Cheltenham Ultimate Challenge - a 75km ultra marathon. Due to injury I was unable to complete this but having raised money wanted and needed to fulfil this obligation.
I am over my injury and back in training and have entered the Thames Trot - a 50 mile ultramarathon from Oxford to Henley taking place on 7th February.
This represents a significant personal challenge not least of all because I am a Type 1 Diabetic; which is why I am looking to raise some funds for Diabetes UK. They do great work supporting diabetics and providing a wealth of information and support that I myself have used.
Thanks for looking at my page but please do not feel under any pressure to donate. There are a lot of people doing a lot of different things to raise money for different charities and I am just another one.
If you do wish to support this endeavour then donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks again for taking the time to look at my page...
