As an employee of Safe Harbor I have a front row seat to life transformation.. I see women who are broken, helpless, and have no hope. However; I get to see God's hand in the everyday miracle, I get to see Christ through someone's freedom journey. I get to see women who are living out their recovery, knowing their worth, and loving THEIR Jesus.

I was lead to Safe Harbor and felt right at home immediately.  It was clear that this is where I was meant to do God's work.  Like so many other people in this world, I have been touched by addiction.  It affects not only the one with the addiction, but their family and loved ones too.  It has caused pain and upheaval in my, and my children's lives.  But, I also know the strength of will and resolve it takes to enter into recovery. I respect that, and am in awe by it.  Addiction is isolating whereas recovery needs to be inclusive.  You need a loving community for support.

Here at Safe Harbor, we meet women where they are in Christ.  We offer them a Christ-centered community where they can be with like-minded, supportive friends.  And with the programs Safe Harbor offers, they are able to step into their God-given purpose.

I have seen their transformations, I have seen the dedication of every participant, staff member and volunteer.  And because of this, it is easy to share the healing power of Jesus through Safe Harbor.
