Story
It's been over 2 years now since my nan and grandad passed away. My nan nursed my grandad after he suffered a really nasty fall at home, even though she was diagnosed and was living with cancer. Sadly my grandfather passed away after over 40 years of marriage shared together. My nan remained so strong and positive day to day but sadly passed away after finally losing the battle to this horrible disease.
I am raising money for the Isabel Baker Foundation, which looks to raise awareness and support for parents who have children suffering from childhood cancer after the diagnosis of the disease. Families suffer in many different ways and money will not stop the hurt but it will help support them when they are unable to return to work and allow them the valuable time to mourn their loss.
To raise awareness and as much money as possible for this charity I’ll be jumping out of a plane @ 15,000ft (60 second free fall) in a tandem skydive.
I’m doing this skydive to firstly raise awareness but also to support my mum (who also is doing a charity skydive) who stood by my Nan and grandad every day when they were poorly and put her life on hold to try and save theirs. With this support she will be able to do something that I know would have put a huge smile on my nan and grandad's face.
So please support our cause and donate anything you can. Thank you :)
