Thanks for visiting this page.
At SK we like to practice what we preach, though some of us take it a little further than others! This year Michael Kitching is doing some mammoth cycle undertakings that include:
- The British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride
- The Italian Maratona dles Dolomites
- Prudential Ride London
- The Christie Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride
The London Prudential and Maratona dles Dolomites are the more gruelling, with the Italian ride including 85 miles of riding and 13,000 feet of climbing (the equivalent of riding four times up Snowdon!) and the London Prudential requiring 100 miles of riding, all in a single day.
The Manchester to Blackpool and London to Brighton are both 60 mile rides. That’s too easy for our Michael, who has committed to riding these from start to finish, and then back again. To ‘spice it up a bit’ he says, as we all quietly quiver in our cycle clips.
Michael is riding all of this to raise money for British Heart Foundation, a charity close to our hearts. He would appreciate any support you can give him, after all he is cycling circa 450 miles on a razor-sharp saddle this summer. Go on dig deep to give his legs a boost.
