Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Hi, from the Mango Tree team!
We are a group of 10 students from Year 12 at NHEHS and over the course of this year (2019/20) we will be fundraising for the Mango Tree Charity, in the hope of raising enough money to buy a school bus for the school located in Kenya, to help students in their journeys to and from school. (All your donations will go towards this)
This coming summer of 2020 we will be visiting the school in August and participating in their summer program, delivering lessons to the students and providing activities to get involved over the two weeks, which we are all really looking forward to!
We have organised fundraising events throughout the year and we have already sold items at our school's Christmas Bazaar, which we had two stalls for selling cakes and sustainable items along with raising awareness for the charity. We also did a 10 Hour Danceathon on Wednesday 11th December at our school where we danced non stop for 10 hours, and would still appreciate any donations via this page!
We have an upcoming quiz night on Friday 24th April, which will include a quiz and a raffle - this has been postponed due to Covid-19.
The Mango Tree charity team can unfortunately no longer travel to Kenya this August as a result of COVID-19. We were so looking forward to visiting this Mango Tree and are all very saddened by this news. However, we would love to continue raising money for the Mango Tree, especially as lockdown measures have prevented that construction of the new school in Kenya.
We decided that if we can't fly to Kenya, why don't we walk/cycle there instead?! It's a crazy idea, and considering it's over 4000 miles, it will take us a while! We are just very glad we still have the opportunity to fundraise for the Mango Tree, and we'd appreciate any donations, so we can reach over £5000!
Any more updates on upcoming events will be posted here!

Any donations are welcome, we hope we can fundraise as much as possible for The Mango Tree!
