Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi everyone....I have set my self  my biggest challenge yet to take on this trek as it is always something I wanted to do. It will challenge me in so many ways not only because I do not know anyone that is doing this but because I am also not great with heights at all..... and I know I will be completely out of my comfort zone but I will give it every thing that I have.

Covid depending I am hoping to do this next year.

Cancer has affected my family in many ways over the years and I really want to do something more to help. Raising money for St Margaret’s is really important to me for many reasons. I volunteered for this amazing organisation for many years and I have seen first hand what brilliant work they do. For me to be able to volunteer for them was an absolute privilege and so is doing this challenge.

St Margaret’s Hospice also took care of my grandad who I sadly lost to cancer a few years ago. He was one of the most significant and inspirational people in my life and I will always be so grateful for the amazing care he received and I know how much it helped my gran knowing he was receiving the best possible care. I also know how much it would mean to my grandparents to know that I am doing this in his memory. I will keep that in mind when this challenge really tests me.

I really want to say thank you to St Margaret's by giving back to them.

I am also hoping by taking on this challenge that I am able to raise as much money for this wonderful cause as I possibly can. I am also trying my best to reach my fundraising goal of £100,000 for cancer related charities and I am really close. With your support I am really hoping I can reach it.

I am truly grateful for any donations how ever small. Thank you so much.  Together we really can make a difference.

Thank you in advance.
