Story
Dad and I walked everywhere together. We lived in London when I was a kid and if there wasn't a bus within sight we walked, when I say we walked it was more of a quick march. Dad had been a military man and I'm sure he thought my little legs would get to his 140 pace eventually. We would both get up early on a Sunday morning together and walk our dog Skipper for hours through the woods before breakfast, so what better way to raise money than to hike Snowdon overnight and watch the sunrise before breakfast. Dad has been living with Dementia for about 10 years now, like everyone he has good days, but there are bad days when he doesn't really know who I am. He loves all of his grandchildren to bits, but he struggles to remember they are not children anymore. I'd like to raise as much money for ARUK to help find much needed treatment and also to raise awareness.
