Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I decided to take my running to the next step after taking part in a half marathon in September 2012. One of my colleagues persuaded me to register for the Edinburgh Marathon in May 2013. I chose to collect sponsorship for Macmillan Cancer care, who kindly supported my late father through his illness.
Sadly after 5 months of hard training I tore my calf muscle on my last big run two weeks before the race. To say I was devastated was an understatement. After lots of physio, rest, and building up my muscles I'm now back to running and slowly building up the miles ahead of the Lochness Marathon on 29th September 2013. 😀
