At the moment the Samaritans of Maidstone & Weald need help like never before. Like a lot of small and local charities they are in need of funds to keep going. This branch is a charity in it’s own right run entirely by volunteers who do not get any funding from the government or the central charity. All funds to keep the branch open are raised by the volunteers who are already very stretched at the moment keeping dealing with callers. This charity needs help now to keep going! 

Samaritans provide a 24/7 service for anyone who needs us. We can be contacted via the telephone, email, text and also provide a face-to-face service at our branch in Grecian Street, Maidstone. The branch is manned by volunteers, we have no paid staff and we receive no central funding. Every penny donates goes towards keeping our branch open so that we are there when needed.
