In October, I am taking on the massive challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.  I have been inspired to do this by the family of Ben Bowman, a young man of incredible courage.  Folowing numerous operations at Great Ormond Street and Brompton Hospitals, Ben began to recieve care at Shooting Star House. The work of their Care Team was just incredible and has given Ben and his fmaily a new lease of life.

I have been blessed with a healthy family, but seeing the misery and pain that Ben's family have been through, has made me relaise that not everyone is so lucky.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that this is the first time that I have ever tackled something like climbing Kilimanjaro! But, if I can help to raise money for this fantastic charity and other children like Ben, all the hard work and fear will be worth it.
