Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 28th September 2013, I am undertaking the Ben Nevis Trek Challenge on behalf of the NSPCC. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland and the British Isles standing at roughly 4000ft or 1343metres.
I have now started my 9 week training schedule much to the amusement of many I know, who normally only see me stroll out locally to be met by a glass of chilled wine!!
As some of you may already be aware, I volunteer as a Counsellor for Childline, which strives to stop cruelty in whatever form to all children and young people, and which is now part of the NSPCC.
After every shift, I feel totally priviledged and humbled by the strength of character shown by young people I have contact with, and I'm proud to be part of a Charity that can have such a positive effect on their lives.
Please if you feel you can support my challenge and donate anything at all, inbox me your details or donate on my justgiving page, and every penny will be gratefully received.
I will be wearing my NSPCC t-shirt but am happy to pin any company logos to it for a donation and at least you can say you did the walk with me!!!
I will of course supply photos as proof of evidence that I did actually make it to the summit!
Thanks again for your support
Love
Maggie xx
