This year, with the help of Fontbonne University, I am going to be learning more about leadership, mentorship, grit, and self-care. During this semester and next, we will be meeting and diving deep into each of these topics and exploring how to improve my skills as a campus leader. I will get to take these skills that I learn out into the workplace as well! At the end of next semester, we will be traveling to Walt Disney World to complete the Disney Youth Education Series: College Edition program, where we will get to take classes from Disney Educators, showing how the company teaches these aspects to their cast members. After our trip, I will bring all of the concepts that we have learned over the course of these two semesters and come back to campus and implement them in the clubs that I am a part of.
