We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

I'm Maddy, and I'm 10 years old - this time last year was very sad for me and my family, as my grandma passed away, after suffering from dementia. To mark this occasion I wish to challenge myself and raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK. This is in the hope that a cure can be found and prevent another family having to suffer life with dementia.

My (and now my Mum's) challenge is, on Saturday the 18th December to walk from Putney bridge to tower bridge, following the Thames river, crossing 15 bridges. The route will be 25km in total. We estimate to complete the walk in approximately 6 hours.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Wish me luck!

Maddy
