Perhaps there’s a longing to be in the pain cave once more

In truth, my life has been significantly less active over the past 18 months. I’ve taken on new responsibilities in my personal time, studied, grown (not vertically) & hopefully become better for it, but breaking back into regular training has been a consistent, it hasn’t happened - if the last two years has taught me anything, I need people in my life to give me a kick up the arse & get me away from 4 walls

I'm a volunteer and board of trustees member for My Black Dog, a charity that offers free, anonymous, peer to peer support for people struggling with their mental health.

We're open every night of the week and you can talk to someone who gets it, has their own lived mental health experiences and isn't there to offer treatment, instead, to have a conversation. 

There are no scripts, no schedule, you dictate the pace and conversation
