Memory Walk
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

In April of this year , my Dad died at the ripe old age of 95.

In his last years, sadly he developed dementia and had to live in a home along with many other sufferers. We were fortunate that he could remember members of his family, along with bits of his past including his wars years and all the songs. However, there were many in the home, some only in their late 50’s without the ability to recall family, friends or their careers!

These poor souls are totally withdrawn, isolated and need constant care.

So yes, here it comes 😊

On the 24th September, the Dean and Wheatfill gang, along with a number of friends are taking part in the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk in Oxford. A 5k walk where we are trying to raise as much money as possible to fund critical research. If you can spare a few pounds, all contributions will make a major difference. I really appreciate any support you can give.

Many Thanks
