We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year – that’s the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there. Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the Alzheimer's Society. So it’s the most efficient way to raise money – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.

I lost my grandad to dementia and watching as this awful disease slowly took him away from everyone he loved made my heart break. It's scary how such a physically strong man could come victim to dementia. I want to raise money and awareness so that more people understand what it is and maybe help someone who might have the early signs which most people miss. Dementia doesn't knock on the door and let you know its here it slowly creeps up and takes your loved ones away from you and turn them into a stranger.
