Fundraising for Young Lives vs Cancer

'On Tuesday 28th June MTGS is holding a sponsored walk to raise money for the ‘Young lives vs Cancer’ charity which offers support to children with cancer and their families. The walk is in memory of Freya Kelly who sadly passed away in 2020 when she was in year 8.
Freya was involved in many sporting events at MTGS alongside being a member of musical ensembles including choir and orchestra. She was very fond of literature and was always someone to turn to for inspiration and creativity. Freya had a deep love for animals and was always trying to look after them. She was a kind, caring and good friend, and everyone knew that they could turn to her for support. She was a positive influence in everyone’s lives and her resilience is a quality we all admired. Freya is greatly missed and her friends in year 10 still think of her often and remember her always.
