Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving Page. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a progressive neurological condition of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). Symptoms of MS include impaired mobility and vision, severe fatigue and cognitive difficulties. To date, there is no known cause or cure for MS. MS can have a huge impact on an individual's quality of life and every little amount raised will go toward vital supports for those living with MS.

To raise money our class (3rd year Clinical Speech and Language Therapy Students from Trinity College Dublin) decided to hold an Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) day. AAC regards methods of communication that either support or replace a person's speech. On 10th March the class will use AAC for the day. From 11-1pm the class will use AAC in Trinity College Dublin. Also supporting us on the day will be the Trinitones who have kindly agreed to perform on Front Square.
