Story
Hello beautiful people!
As you may or may not know, we are Thomas (24) and Twan (24) aka Hardhat Racingos, and we were finally about to take our beloved little car (Britney) all the way to Mongolia... However, life is unpredictable and after two years of closed borders with the pandemic and now a delusional Russian dictator, plans had to be changed a little bit.
Instead of the setting course to Mongolia, this summer we will participate in the Mongol Rally Poles of Inconvenience 2022. This rally will take us from Czechia to Georgia in the most inconvenient way possible. As the route is waaaaaayyyyy too easy, there are some checkpoints we need to hit on route to the finish line. A little detour to Sicily, Morocco, Iran, or Finland are all possible, which ones we will hit is still up for grabs!
We will do all of this in an effort to raise as much money as possible for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Heavy fighting, shelling and air strikes across Ukraine have had devastating consequences. Already, over two million people have fled their homes to escape intense conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind loved ones, livelihoods and almost everything they own, they need shelter, food, and water. People are losing their homes and lives, essential services like water and healthcare have been hit and temperatures have dropped below zero. Please support our fundraiser to help reach those in urgent need in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. With your help we can support ActionAid and the DEC in scaling up their response and help families to stay warm and protect women and girls.
€10 could provide essential hygiene supplies for 1 person for one month, and we will put your name on Britney!
€50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm, and we will make a personalized photo somewhere on or off route, as well as your name on Britney!
€100 could provide emergency food for 2 families for one month, and we will make a personalized video somewhere on or off route, as well as all the above!
