On World Mental Health day on the 10th October 2019, one hundred North East MPCT Learners and staff will compete in an Inter College Log Race at Gateshead International Stadium, each college will complete a marathon distance of 26.2 miles carrying a 70kg log around the stadium running track. The burden of the log represents extracting a casualty from the Battlefield.  The aim is raise awareness for Mental health whilst raising funds to for the Motivation and Learning Trust a charity that specifically support disadvantaged MPCT learners in times of need.
