Story

In aid of the Salvation Army (UK) - Australian Bushfire Relief the RAF Fire Service and the Falklands Fire Service are to complete a relay walk from 12 FAC in Mount Pleasant Airfield to The Globe Tavern in Port Stanley (34 miles) wearing full fire fighting PPE and BA sets.

All money raised will be sent to Australia to help The Salvation Army provide to provide relief and ongoing recovery to rebuild and prepare Australia for future disasters.Australia has been fighting catastrophic fires since September 2019, now being labelled Australia's `Black Summer' fires caused by record breaking heat, draught, lightning and arson. The devastation of these fires will have a significant impact on Australia for years to come. Please help us raise invaluable funds to help Australia get back on its feet again. Thank you.
