MND awareness and fund raising fun day, 17 September 2022
We support treatment, research and care to help make a difference at our hospitals

Story

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease for which there is currently no cure.

Our fundraising motivation for MND comes from the diagnosis of our close friend Sylvia and the life changing effect the disease has had on herself, her husband and their family.

Research and trials are ongoing for MND which affects adults of all ages. We will send the proceeds directly to the research team at the Lancashire Teaching Hospital in Preston in support of their Europe wide research for a cure.

We are fortunate to have the support of our families and friends to provide an MND awareness and fundraising day on Saturday 17th September at the Calypso Restaurant, Eanam Wharf, Blackburn.

If you are unable to attend on the day, please help us to bring hope to people with MND and their families by contributing to our Just Giving page.

Thank you all for your support.
