Bolton Hospice

Bolton Hospice is a modern, purpose-built unit with 14 inpatient beds, extensive day care and outpatient facilities, and a Hospice at Home nursing service.

What is hospice care?

Hospice care improves the lives of people who have a life-limiting illness. It helps them live as actively as they can to the end of their lives, however long that may be. It deals with not only the patients' physical needs, but also the emotional, spiritual and social needs.

Bolton Hospice also helps support family members, carers and close friends of a patient, both during the illness and during bereavement. 

Bolton Hospice provide this care at the hospice and also in the homes of patients who are in the final stages of life.
