Story

Please donate £2 for Mums business Monday in celebration of mums across Warwickshire and the support & change we can make!By Your Side is our Mum Knows Best Warwickshire’s nominated charity. This charity was voted for by our Mums so that we can help Leanne and her volunteers continue their amazing work with local mums who have been or are suffering from perinatal mental illness.

£50 allows By Your Side to provide a hamper to a vulnerable unwell mum or a mum on discharge from a mother and baby unit (we try to help mums across the county with this) and provide things such as a family photo shoot so they can make precious memories as these are often forgotten when mum is unwell. This could also cover a term of baby classes to encourage mum to get out and meet other mums

£100 can fully train and DBS check a volunteer providing one to one peer support to a mum who needs it for one month!

£500 will allow by your side to provide a Perinatal Mental Health workshop for professionals to educate them in the importance of considering pmh in their role. By Your Side held one of these workshops in March, health visitors, midwives, perinatal Mental Health Team all came along and spoke with service users and all said it would change the way they looked after women. They all had to write a pledge at the end of the day for what they would do to make a difference to mums experiencing perinatal mental health. We would love it if you would donate today.
