I am a Veteran. 

I was medically discharged in 2013 and finally left service from the Royal Marines in January 2016. 

I have battled physical and mental health problems, to which I still struggle with today.  

My road has been similar to many others in the military, we give our all and find ourselves unprepared for returning to our families. This then brought on a divorce, the inability to work with others, financial difficulty and in 2018 no where to live. Not many people know that I hit such a low point. I remember pleading with charities to help me and several stepped up in my hour of need. I will repay you all, but today I wish to pass on something positive to the first charity that stepped up.  

The RMA-TRMC helped prevent bankruptcy, they have supported my continued battle with the AFCS and finally the reason why I am starting this page; In 2019 they took my children, partner and myself away to Rondane in Norway to give us a magical christmas present. It was the first time I had reintegrated into the Royal Marines family, I reconnected with old friends and made some new ones. It was the most supportive and special event I could imagine.

This page is trying to raise funds for another family to experience what I was lucky enough to experience. To send a single person on this trip costs around £1500, therefore this is my first financial target. Please help me support another Royal Marine who has struggled and needs to be uplifted by such an experience. 

I thought about many ideas and couldn't figure one out until now. 

I am 40 years old in March next year and want to give everyone the option to see me off with a hairstyle and beard style of your choosing. For every £1 you donate you can suggest a hairstyle OR beard style you wish me to have. The day before my 40th I will tally up all the votes and do what ever the majority wish. I will keep a spreadsheet and let everyone know how we are going on.
