Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have just walked 999km of The Via Francigena from Aosta to Rome to raise money for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)
I posted photos and news of my adventures both here and on my website at 'ProseccoMedic.com' as I tried to prove that what they say is true and that all roads really do lead to Rome.
I met kind and genorous Italian people who made the adventure the most incredible experience of my life.
I walked roughly 30km per day through gorgeous scenery which meant that I developed the appertite of a wolf and thighs like a Thunder Cat!
I was rescued from a mountain by a hunk in a helicopter, accepted B&B from kindly strangers (one that I just met in a bar) as well as sleeping in ambulance stations, convents and hospitals! I received a constant stream of best wishes, hugs and gifts as I went along my route which consisted of a different town everyday until I reached Rome and all with a ruptured tendon in my left foot.
So please dig deep and donate now to help me double my original target Médecins Sans Frontières is a most worthy cause as I'm sure you would agree!
