Hi everyone,

Against my better judgement and due to being far too agreeable when drunk I am taking part in the Bath Half Marathon in March 2012!

The charity I will be running in support of is Macmillan Cancer Support. I hope than unlike my family many of you will never need to use the support of Macmillan nurses, but the sad fact is in the U.K more than one in three people will develop some form of cancer in their lifetime. The work that Macmillan does not only supports cancer suffers like my Dad but their families who are also so hugely devastated and affected by the news, easing a little pressure in any way they can during an extremely difficult time.

As you will all know running is not my forte so please help to make this marathon as worthwhile as possible! Every little helps, and I really mean that, thank you all in advance
