Story

We are devastated to announce that our precious Mum has passed away. She showed such bravery in her short battle with cancer.
Showing no fear in death and no guilt in life, she spent her final days offering as much love as she could muster and even quoting bible verses to help with our grief, still preparing us for what’s ahead.
Mum was the kindest, most gentle soul, we have been reminded of this by the raft of messages of support. My family would like to thank you all for the kind words.
She only asked for one thing and that was for us to give ‘Thanks’ don’t allow fear, pain and anguish to take hold, thank God every day for what we have and who we have to love.
We would like to give sincere thanks to the wonderful NHS, Christies & Wigan & Leigh Hospice. The hospice in Wigan is a charity with less than a third of its income coming from the government. They provide palliative care to over 1100 people in the Wigan borough yearly.
As a family we would to raise money for the hospice in Mums name, please help with any amount you can manage.
