Event: St Luke's Hospice (Harrow And Brent) Ltd - Midnight Walk 2011, on 17 June 2011
We help people facing terminal illness to have the best quality of life possible

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

On the 17th June 2011 I will be taking part in a 9 mile midnight walk around the streets of Harrow to raise money for St Luke's Hospice in memory of my wonderful, irreplaceable sister-in-law Dot.

St Luke's Hospice looks after people in Harrow and Brent with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, offering people free hospice care either in their own homes or within the hospice buildling in Kenton.

St Luke's is an independent charity and provides all its services free of charge. The hospice relies heavily on fundraising from the community to ensure its work can continue. In 2010 they need to raise over £3million to stay open.

There are no words to express how grateful I am to St Luke's for the care they gave Dot and the support they provided for my family, including enabling visitors to spend as much time with her as possible, something that would not have been possible in hospital.

All donations of any size are very, very gratefully received (please remember to tick the gift aid box!)

Thank you so much!
Lynn
