Hello!  Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

I have decided to set myself a challenge and run the London Marathon on 13th April for the fantastic charity 'Against Breast Cancer'.

I watched the TV coverage from the comfort of my sofa last year and was crying my eyes out at all the inspirational stories.  So, I decided I wanted to join them this year and run the full 26.2 miles for my Mum.  She was diagnosed with the disease 21 years ago, and thankfully her treatment was successful.  She is my best friend (and shopping partner) and I can't imagine my life without her.  I hope the funds I raise from my challenge will go a long way in helping other women survive the devastating disease.

Every penny I raise will go directly to the charity, I am funding the flights etc myself.  So if you decide you would like to support you will know that 100% of your donation will be used to fund ground breaking research.  

I know the journey won't be easy and the training will be tough (the furthest I think I've ever ran is about 12 miles) but I will be very grateful for your support and it'll carry me through the final miles on Marathon day.
