In August 2010 I lost my Great Niece Anna to Sudden Cot Death.  She was only 5 months old and went to sleep healthy and happy. My family is still traumatised.

I have never before sought to raise money for charity. However as the Scottish Cot Death Trust has been so incredibly supportive to my family, on Sunday 23 October, I will along with my sister Lorraine, brother Tommy, nephew Martin, my lifelong best friend Linda and Lorraine's best friend Jackie, I am taking part in the Edinburgh Fun Run 5k, and hope to raise money for the Scottish Cot Death Trust. This is a family first, all doing this together - and we have a range of target speeds of between 21 and 38 minutes.  The important thing is that we are all doing it for the Trust and in memory of our beautiful Anna.
