I am trekking the Sahara, standing side-by-side with a team of amazing people to make a change in Breast cancer awareness and treatment for the future. Coppafeel is a charity close to my heart as three of the women closest to me are breast cancer survivors. My mum, my partner and a very good friend of mine have all been through breast cancer. 

I have been there to support them through their journeys and have first-hand experience of what they’ve been through. I have often felt helpless at times, but now is my chance to give back and walk every step for them, for women of our future - including my two daughters. 

I am also aware that within the LGBTQ community, breast cancer of a higher risk as it’s likely to go undetected for longer, so I wish represent the LGBTQ community and raise awareness within the community too.
