Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am racing a race of at least 10k each and every month in 2015, culminating in a Half Marathon at The Great North Run in September, followed by the Dirt Half, off road run in Leighton Buzzard in November, and MK Winter Half in December.   I am not a natural runner.  I puff like an old diesel engine and wobble my way round.  I keep running and training, and hope you can sponsor me a few pennies to make it all worthwhile

.PKD is the most common life threatening, heredity disease.  It a disease really close to my heart.  Thankfully, my parents are both doing really well now.  It also seems that the disease has not been passed down to affect any more generations in our family.  For that I am truly grateful.  There are so many other families not so lucky.  I am running  and raising money to help these families, and to raise awareness, as well as to fund research in to cures, and to halt the progression of this awful disease.
