Luke started raising money for Bloodwise in 2009 following his diagnosis of Acute Myloid Leukaemia in March 2008. Since that time Luke has relapsed twice, once in July 2012 for which he had a successful stem cell transplant, and once again in June 2015. Unfortunately, Luke's most recent round of treatment was unsuccessful and he sadly passed away on 21 October 2015. You can read more about Luke's journey from 2008 - 2012 here http://lukesleukaemiasideline.blogspot.co.uk In the last 7 years of his life Luke took part in various activities to raise funds, and encouraged others to do so too. His legacy lives on and he continues to inspire others to raise much needed funds for this fantastic charity to ensure that others don't have to suffer in future years.
