Maidwell Hall Brecon Beacons Leavers Walk 2017 · 9 June 2017

We fund much-needed equipment to improve the lives of disabled children

Story

Myself and 15 other 12-13 year old Maidwell pupils will be taking on the full range of the Brecon Beacons and will be walking roughly 40 miles from start to finish during three days in June.

We will be carrying heavy rucksacks with all our provisions for the three days together with our tents; to this extent the expedition is unsupported with two of the three nights spent camping, one of which will be a wild campsite in the mountains.

It will be a massive challenge for us but we have prepared well and the beauty of the hills in this part of Wales will inspire us;  so will the main objective, which is to raise as much money as possible for the ‘The Elifar Foundation’.

The expedition is lead by our Headmaster Mr Lankester and each of us will also have a father/mother accompanying us. (Dad is coming with me😀)

We will find it a huge challenge and are raising sponsorship money for The Elifar Foundation who fund much needed equipment to improve the lives of disabled children.

Please support me and Dad and give generously.

Thank you very much for your support.
