Story

Hi there, my name is Luke. I am fundraising for my cousin Dan.

On 18th May, this year, I am taking on the Jurassic Coast 100km Ultra marathon!

Daniel Sinyinza was a brilliant man. He always cared so much about everyone around him. He was wickedly funny and wasn't afraid of any challenge. He loved his family.

In January last year, Dan slipped in the kitchen and broke his leg. After some time in hospital, it was discovered that Dan had cancer. His diagnosis came on the 3rd of March.

Just 58 days later, while Dan was at home surrounded by those he loved most, Dan passed away.

He was just 26 years old.

In life, Dan always sought to help others and Success Club UK was a charity which he was planning to get involved with.

'Success Club work to maximise opportunities and improve the life outcomes for local young people aged 5-18 facing challenges through positivity, belief and practical support'

Any money raised for this charity will make real and direct changes to the young people this charity supports.

Dan lived life to the full and was able to accomplish so much in his short life, which gives us a little comfort as his family

The pain that we feel now is unbearable, but if in his name we can change some lives of vulnerable young people he'll live on.
