I have chosen to fundraise for cancer research because sadly in August 2020 I lost my dad and my best mate to a very rare and aggressive form of cancer. He was the funniest, most genuine person and without him here nothing is quite as good because I don’t have the person I would want to talk to about it. He was also the only person in the world who thought Spurs could lose even if they were winning 3-0 with five minutes to go.

What happened is unfair, but not unusual. It happens to lots of good people but fundraising can help to prevent this continuing to happen to people and their families.
