Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m cycling the length of UK for Parkinsons because without

continuing research I may not be able to ride a bike in years to

come….

MY STORY

Hi all! Thank you for visiting our jogle page. This Summer some friends and  I from all over the home of the queen mother will be riding from the top of this island to the bottom. We will be riding for causes as diverse as the people who are crazy enough to ride for 10 long consecutive days. All causes worth riding for are worthy and mine is close to my heart.

Parkinson’s does not discriminate between age, race or sex. My uncle and girlfriend’s father have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s a degenerative disease which effects the central nervous system. The slow decrease of the motor functions is one way that the disease can manifest itself.

To those who question my commitment to the ride-to all those would  be doubters, my seriousness may be best expressed by my      purchase of an all LYCRA cycling outfit. If you want to see me in my  skin tight suit, please donate to a worthy cause and support me and  my friends on our journey across the UK!

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
