Story
For those who remembered last year, I was preparing for the fight and was injured before I could even start planning my entrance music. Thank you to everyone that sponsored me, I appreciate your support and I will match you donations for this year. Rest assured your money was not in vain (in fact it did go to the charity).
The headline is I'm back and more ready to get knocked out than ever.
This year, I was struck by the very sad news that a good friend of mine was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer. He's been an absolute inspiration, incredibly brave and if nothing else, would quite appreciate watching me take a pounding in the ring.
Cancer Research has always been a charity close to my heart, and although I'm sure they wouldn't have wanted this but I'll also be raising in memory of my late Mum, Dad and Cousin Paul.
Boxing is actually really hard and I'm not very good which means the moneymaker is taking a bit of beating. However, in spite of the knocks and bruises and the thought of getting knocked out in front of all my friends and family, I know this is a really amazing opportunity to raise money for a charity to help find a cure for a disease that cuts lives far too many lives short.
