Story
With just under a month to go until the London Marathon, and having seen the impact Hatti had on the world through her beautiful friends and family, I am inspired to raise money for Smile From Hatti and the excellent work they do supporting young people with cancer.
Hatti Sandall was 23 when she was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She was so grateful to her many friends and relatives who set up and supported a fund called Smile for Hatti. The goal of the fund was to enable some improved quality of life in the weeks and months leading up to her death. The financial support provided by friends enabled a stairlift to be installed, massage sessions helped ease her pain and complementary therapies meant that she never gave up hope. She wanted a charity to be set up in order to do this for others in a similar position and henceforth, what was Smile for Hatti became Smile from Hatti.
THE MISSION OF THE CHARITY IS TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND TO BRING A SMILE TO THE FACES OF YOUNG PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM CANCER.
