Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As most of you will know by now, as part of our decision to take in the sights of Barcelona via a run, we're supporting Pete's Pancreas Project, a fundraising effort set up last year by our friend Jim Dowen & his brother Daniel, after their father was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in 2011, at the age of 62.

The Freeman hospital has given Pete excellent care but due to lack of funding, research and knowledge around this extremely rare cancer is limited. The Dowen family have set up a trust in their father’s name to finance the much needed research to help people who are faced with a similar situation them.

We know everyone's saving money for the next holiday/car/wedding/Friday night, but this a cause worth digging deep for. Any donation would be much appreciated.

Thank you!
