Story

As you may or may not know, I was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei 3 years ago. I had a small operation then and was living a healthy happy life. Then in the summer this year I was given the upsetting news that the condition had returned and that I would have to have a much larger operation at a specialist cancer hospital in Manchester. This operation is a lengthy process and I was under the general anesthetic for 10 hours. Thankfully my condition was not as severe as some people and my surgeon was very confident he had cleared me of the disease. Not everyone is as lucky as me and I decided before I went under the knife for my operation this year that when I was well again I would hold a charity disco to raise money for Pseudomyxoma Survivor to help others who have this terrible, and sometimes fatal, disease.

The disco is in Glasgow on 31st January 2014. I appreciate that this is not convenient for everyone to get to or you may have something else on and I have had some people asking how to donate to the charity if they can't make the disco. This is why I have set up this just giving page.
