I have signed up for a 3000m open water swim on 6 September and I'm fundraising for the Southampton and Winchester Visitors Group, which is a really special charity I've become involved with since moving to Hampshire. They support destitute migrants and asylum seekers, many of whom have no access to welfare in the UK, to overcome what are in many cases horrific past experiences, and to seek a new life in England.
