Story
So I have been treated for cancer and have just finished my treatment - fingers crossed now for the future but its all looking great. Whilst I was having treatment I started to write letters for "From me to you" who send letters to cancer patients across the UK - I found it really therapeutic! So to help them raise funds in a really simple way I have set up the "Little Book Library" on Harlow Hill to encourage people to read and to encourage people to write again. A collection box is available for donations and all donations will be entered onto this fund raising page for "From me to you".
Every year From Me to You send over 2,000 letters to cancer patients in hospitals, run workshops to help people write letters to friends and family suffering with cancer to stay connected and give out 100's of letter-writing kits. A free place on a workshop costs them £15, a letter-writing kit £10 and a book of 12 stamps £8. Our fundraising will help them to continue their work to tackle the social isolation so often experienced by cancer patients.
