Lucy Fraser is raising money for Raleigh International Trust
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In September I will be travelling to Nicaragua where I will be volunteering with ICS Raleigh; taking part in a water and sanitation project. Raleigh is a great charity that makes a sustainable impact in the areas it targets, so every penny you donate will go directly to the people that need it.
ICS brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most. I’ll be working alongside volunteers from Nicaragua, on a project focused on improving access to safe water and sanitation services. The charity creates impact through increasing knowledge and changing attitudes and behaviour in relation to good hygiene practices in rural communities.
ICS works with communities that have specifically requested their help. It also aims to inspire young
people in the UK and overseas to become active citizens who are passionate about long term
community development.
